The most recent rumors and news about transfers involving Liverpool, as the Reds have revealed another heartbreaking loss this summer following the exits of Joel Matip and Thiago Alcantara

Since the conclusion of the previous season, Liverpool’s summer has been dominated by departures.

Six employees—Andreas Kornmayer, Andreas Schlumberger, John Achterberg, Pep Lijnders, Peter Krawietz, and Vitor Matos—as well as Jurgen Klopp were there at the beginning. Later, earlier this month, ten players left the team after the manager did.

On the last day, Joel Matip and Thiago Alcantara were said farewell by the backroom crew at Anfield. Academy players Nathan Giblin, Niall Osborne, Adam Lewis, Cody Pennington, Francis Gyimah, Luke Hewitson, Mateusz Musialowski, Melkamu Frauendorf, and Nathan Giblin were also released in the interim. Another exit is now officially open.

Hola an Adrián
Six days after his contract with Liverpool expired at the beginning of this month, Adrian made his departure from the team known on Sunday night. Four and a half weeks after the team announced that they had extended a contract offer to the third-choice goalkeeper, the move has taken place.

Adrian is expected to return to Real Betis, where he spent more than 20 years as an academy student before departing in 2013 to play for West Ham United. This is the first of what might be several goalie departures since there are ongoing rumors that link Caoimhin Kelleher to moves elsewhere and that Saudi Arabia is reportedly interested in Alisson.

A substitute for Robertson?
According to reports, Liverpool is targeting Rayan Ait-Nouri of Wolves. The club is apparently looking to add a left-back this summer. According to Football Insider, the Reds are interested in signing the Algerian international because he might give Andy Robertson competition and support.

Kostas Tsimikas would appear to be gone with such a signing, but Robertson, whose contract is up in less than two years, might not fare as well. Seven years younger than the Scotland international, Ait-Nouri may end up taking his place should Liverpool formally express interest in the Wolves player.
