Transfer talks have been confirmed by Johan Bakayoko, who has ties to Liverpool.
Johan Bakayoko, who was linked to a move to Liverpool earlier this year, has acknowledged that he might leave PSV Eindhoven this summer after returning for preseason training.
The 21-year-old turned down a transfer to Burnley in the Premier League the previous season. He played for Belgium in Euro 2024. He is still being linked to a move to Anfield, though, since the right-sided forward is expected to be Mohamed Salah’s long-term replacement as he has an expiring deal with Liverpool in the summer.
Previously, before the European Championship, the forward had kept his cards close to his breast when asked about his future. However, Bakayoko acknowledged that he would be prepared to move on this summer if the perfect opportunity presented itself after returning to PSV for preseason training, assuming PSV did not obstruct his path.
