Liverpool has made Galatasaray an offer of $33 million (£25 million/€30 million) for their 24-year-old winger Baris Alper Yilmaz, according to the Turkish website Ajanspor. Yilmaz, who has been linked to several Premier League teams this summer, is reportedly currently in London.
It sounds like his representative is looking to close a deal on behalf of his client. Though Yilmaz may only be on vacation in the English capital, rumors about him are nevertheless starting to circulate.
Celtic Matt O’Reilly
Following a season in which he was lethal in the final third, Matt O’Reilly, a midfielder for Celtic, is being watched by several teams, including Liverpool. According to Italian journalist Rudy Galetti, the Reds are tracking the 23-year-old.
O’Reilly has reportedly piqued the curiosity of Atletico Madrid and Inter Milan in the past. Once, Atalanta had a bid for him worth about $19 million (£15 million/€18 million) rejected.
O’Reilly, a London native who played senior international football for Denmark, finished the previous season with 19 goals and 18 assists. His first club was Fulham’s academy, and he later played for MK Dons and the Scottish Premiership’s biggest team.
