In order to concentrate on his recuperation from a nagging ailment, Thiago left Liverpool, and this summer, he plans to accept offers from the Middle East.

Thiago’s contract is set to expire at the end of the season, but he appears to have left Liverpool before that, having already played his final game there.

According to reports in Spain via Relevo, the 32-year-old has returned to the nation to work with his own personal physiotherapist, presumably with the club’s OK.

Thiago’s focus is now on his long-term fitness as he has already been ruled out of contention for the balance of the campaign due to an ongoing hip ailment.

This is in an effort to secure a transfer this summer when his contract with Liverpool expires.

According to rumors, Thiago is anticipating proposals from the Middle East, where Saudi Arabia and Qatar are mentioned as potential locations.

While players like Fabinho, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino, and Gini Wijnaldum have all transferred to the Saudi Pro League, his brother Rafinha is presently playing for Al-Arabi in Qatar.

Thiago, however, “prioritizes recovering before choosing the club in question” and has “not received any formal proposal” as of yet.

The last time Thiago played for Liverpool was in a late appearance against Arsenal in February; it turned out to be his only game of the year.

Since then, he has hardly been spotted at Anfield or the AXA Training Centre; it was probably decided at this point to give him a head start before he left.

Naturally, the expectation is that Thiago makes a comeback to Merseyside before the season concludes, as the seasoned player still merits a farewell celebration at Anfield.

On May 19, the last day of the Premier League, Wolves will pay a visit. Not only are Thiago and Joel Matip expected to depart, but so will Jurgen Klopp and his team. It will be an emotional evening.
