With ties to Real Madrid, Trent Alexander-Arnold has already said clearly what his future holds. A rumored target for Manchester United had already hinted at a move to Liverpool.

After the international break, Liverpool will be hoping to recover from their FA Cup loss to Manchester United. Trent Alexander-Arnold and Curtis Jones are two first-team players that Jürgen Klopp will be hoping to see back into the matchday squad shortly.

When players like Joe Gomez and Virgil van Dijk return from their respective national teams, Brighton and Hove Albion will be the first game they face. The Reds want to win additional trophies to formally announce Klopp’s departure this summer. Due to a last-minute Van Dijk goal in extra time, Liverpool defeated Chelsea 1-0 in February, securing the Carabao Cup.

Liverpool has advanced to the later stages of the Europa League and is currently tied with Arsenal at the top of the Premier League table. This comes after Liverpool defeated Sparta Prague 11-2 on aggregate. The quarterfinal matchup between Klopp’s team and Atalanta of Serie A is scheduled for April 11.

Trent Alexander-Arnold’s remarks regarding his future in light of his ties to Real Madrid
The topic of Trent Alexander-Arnold’s future is being raised once more. With just over a year left on his Anfield contract, the academy graduate is under observation by Real Madrid, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The 25-year-old has stated in the past that he wants to play his entire career at Liverpool, so it is hard to see him leaving the team. In addition, he still hopes to fulfill another goal with the Reds.

João Gomes, a midfielder for Wolves, is reportedly being linked to Manchester United. The 23-year-old might play for his country tomorrow night when Brazil takes on England.

The Mirror claims that after scouts saw him multiple times this season, United is preparing a $50 million (£40 million/€46 million) move. He is considered as a potential replacement for Casemiro, who is expected to go shortly. Newcastle and Tottenham have also been connected to services.

Erik ten Hag does have a small problem, though, since Gomes has previously acknowledged that he would like to join Liverpool. See our opponents round-up here for more on that, along with rumors of a $100 million bid from Real Madrid.
